69 Gurkha Field Squadron Gurkha 200 Falkland Challenge

To comemorate 200 years of outstanding and loyal Gurkha service to the British Crown, Sgt Lal Rana and his two four-man teams from 69 Gurkha Field Squadron are currently in training to take on the Falklands Challenge.  On 4 April 2015 the teams will set off in relay from Port San Carlos and, following in the footsteps of 1st Battalion, 7th (Duke of Edinburgh's Own) Gurkha Rifles during the 1982 Campaign, complete the 200km route via Goose Green to finish at Stanley.

The teams have set a target of raising £3,000 for the Gurkha Welfare Trust, the Falkland's Veterans Foundation and Community Action Nepal.  If you would like support Sgt Lal and his teams you can make a donation to their cause by going to their Just Giving page.
