Ian Slack served in the Royal Engineers and was medically discharged in 1997 having lost the sight in his right eye. During his nine years in the Corps he served with the QGE in the Falklands, UK, Hong Kong and Brunei (69 Gurkha Fd Sqn RE and 67 Gurkha Fd Sqn RE).
Throughout 2014, Ian will be undertaking a number of cycling events to raise funds and awareness for Blind Veterans UK.
